In the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia, this floating lodge is a fabulous base for Grizzly Bear viewing in stunning, wild and natural surroundings.

The lodge lies 50 miles northeast of Port Hardy on Vancouver Island and is reached by seaplane, as no roads lead here.

Each of the eight bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom with shower. The common area is a great place to relax, meet other guests or listen to a wildlife talk from their resident biologists. While the wooden deck surrounding the lodge offers wonderful views of the forest and waterways, as well as the hummingbirds that regularly visit.

The lodge is wind and solar-powered in keeping with their commitment to low-impact ecotourism.
