Built over 175 years ago, within the walls of Jaipur, the Samode Haveli was once the manor house for the royal family. The style, elegance and graceful architecture of the times have been restored and preserved in the hotel today. The luxurious and spacious rooms are furnished with antiques. Each one is unique and has been decorated to retain the history and tradition of the haveli.
“While Jaipur is exhilarating to explore and a must on any visitors itinerary, the peace and tranquilly of this hotel, bearing in mind its central location, really is outstanding. It is the perfect place to escape the dust and crowds of the city. The wonderful pool with its elegant cabanas is the perfect place to unwind.” Kathryn, Boutique Travel Blog

Why visit Jaipur?
The vibrant and chaotic city of Jaipur is a favourite destination for first-time visitors to India. Together with New Delhi and Agra (where you’ll find the Taj Mahal), it makes up what is known as The Golden Triangle- a roughly triangular-shaped route that leads you around many must-see sights of India.
At Jaipur, you’ll find the Step Wells of Panna Meena Ka Kund, the Pink Palace of Hawa Mahal, the Amber Palace, the Jantar Mantar Observatory, and so much more. Haggling at one of the colourful bazaars is also a must-have experience!
It’s an extremely hectic, exciting city with adventures to be had around every corner. The Samode Haveli is the perfect place to escape to after a busy day exploring.

I had lunch in the gardens of Samode Haveli when I visited Jaipur but didn’t see the inside – so good to have a sneaky peak here! We spent a night at its sister property Samode Palace which is out of town and absolutely stunning. Samode Bagh is also part of the group.
Hi Suzanne, I’m lucky enough to have stayed at both the Samode Haveli and the Samode Palace (which I will be reviewing shortly). Both are very special indeed, as I’m sure Samode Bagh is too.
Whenever I visit Jaipur, I always stay at Samode Haveli. For me it offers the right mix of heritage and style that lets you feel as though you are in India instead of a hotel anywhere in the world. Time to go back for another visit!
